Galgotias University hosts convocation ceremony for graduate, post-graduate and PhD students.

Galgotias University on Saturday held its annual convocation and distributed degrees to graduate and post-graduate and PhD students. The students from different schools, offering specialized courses from engineering, law, business, pharmacy, hospitality, etc were awarded degrees and medals for their exemplary performance.

University Chancellor Suneel Galgotia declared the convocation open and said, “ The convocation is the right time to reaffirm our faith in the education system and university and to prepare ourselves for the outer world. Galgotias as an institute has always strived hard to bestow best of education into our students and we wish you all the best for a very bright and glorious future”.

Guest of Honor SP Shukla, Chairman, Mahindra Aerospace said, “We make choices every day. Some are small, some are large. They are made in private space and public space. Choices aren’t made in isolation; choices are made when you have a choice. No decision can be made without a choice. With the spectrum of choices, only decision makes come into the picture. Being intelligent is often within us, working hard or not working hard is the choice that we make”.

He also shared his success mantra and said, “There is no one single formula of success but just remember that do not listen to anybody who tells you to not to follow your passion and follow some herd”.

National Spokesperson of BJP Sambit Patra said, “There are three types of ‘Daan’ namely VidyaDaan, KanyaDaan and Jeevan Daan and all these three are significant part of everyone’s life. Today the students are receiving what could be termed as ‘VidyaDaan’”.

He also expressed apprehensions on the customs and particularly the uniform that is worn during all such ceremonies including the Convocation.

Motivating students to excel in life and adopt their hobbies as their career, he said, “If you want happiness for life then chose your favourite hobby as your profession. In that way, we do not have to work even for a single day because you are doing what you are in love with”.

Galgotias University CEO Dhruv Galgotia delivered Vote of thanks and congratulated students on successful completion of their degrees.
